Where are you located?

Garden State Car Wash has two locations in Monmouth County, New Jersey. We have a facility at 1130 US Highway 9 in Howell Township, and a second facility at 676 Highway 35 in Middletown.

What are your hours of operation?

Our Howell location is open on Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Our Middletown location is open on Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Is Garden State Car Wash a drive-through facility?

The exterior cleaning of your vehicle is done through a drive-through center, and we also offer interior cleaning once the exterior cleaning is completed. You will need to briefly exit your vehicle for the interior cleaning to ensure it is done thoroughly and safely.

Are your interior cleanings safe?

Your health and safety is of extreme importance to our team at Garden State Car Wash. When you get an interior cleaning with us, we will thoroughly disinfect your vehicle. Also, the disinfectant we use is certified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It has no bleach or alcohol in its formula, and it does not cause any damage to cars.

If I become an Unlimited Car Wash Club member, how often can I wash my car?

When you are an Unlimited Car Wash Club member, you can wash your car every single day at no extra cost. However, we must limit the washes to once per day so that all of our customers are able to visit our facility without prolonged wait times.

Do you offer auto detailing? How long does it take?

We offer exterior detailing, paint correction and interior detailing services. Depending of the size of your vehicle, an exterior detailing will take 3-4 hours, paint correction will take 5-7 hours and interior detailing will take 3-4 hours. A full detail job (exterior and interior) takes approximately 6-8 hours.

Can I get my oil changed at Garden State Car Wash?

Our Howell location of Garden State Car Wash is a Castrol Premium Oil & Lube Express Facility. Additionally, our professional mechanics in Howell can service all of your auto repair needs, including Brakes, Tires, Tune-Ups, CV Axles, Mufflers & Exhaust Systems, Radiator Services, Timing Belts, All Dealer Maintenance and Hub Bearings.

Please note that our Middletown location does not have a Lube & Repair Center.

What is the Ceramic Glaze, and how long does it last?

Ceramic Glaze provides superior protection, enhances gloss and keeps your car cleaner, longer. The Ceramic Glaze provides a clear protection over your car that preserves its shine. It can last up to 14 days, depending on weather. 

Do you offer Gift Cards?

Yes, we offer Gift Cards for both our Howell Township and Middletown locations.

Does regularly washing my car improve its fuel efficiency?

Regularly washing your car does indeed help you save at the gas pump. Dirt and grime on your vehicle causes the engine to work harder, which burns more gas. Additionally, having a clean car also decreases the amount of wind resistance on your vehicle, and that also leads to better fuel efficiency.
